CONGRATULATIONS TO GAUTHIER CHARIOTS ÉLÉVATEURS ON 30 GREAT YEARS!

On May 23rd, over 200 guests made the trip to Warwick, Quebec, Canada, to the head offices of Gauthier Lift for an exceptional open house, celebrating Gauthier’s 30 years of bringing forklift excellence to customers throughout the province.

Hyundai Material Handling would like to add its congratulations to Gauthier and express our pride in having this great company as a valued Hyundai forklift dealer.

Their story of growth is an impressive one that pays tribute to the qualities of hard work and determination.

“When I inherited my father’s garage, in the basement of our house, and started running it with my cousin Charles, we were two 19-year-old kids who didn’t speak a word of English and knew very little about business, but we were willing to learn and to work hard,” said Louis Gauthier, president and cofounder of Gauthier Lift.

Today, their business has grown to four locations, more than 50 employees, and gross sales that are now 20 times what they were since the company’s founding.

“I want to personally offer my congratulations to Gauthier and its entire team,” said Lewis Byers, Hyundai Material Handling Executive Vice President/COO. “They are a great representative of our brand, and I know their success is a tribute to the quality products and service they deliver to their customers.”
